ENTER YOUR BEST for a chance to take your images from the wild to the walls of the Smithsonian. Entries to the competition must be taken of subjects in the wild and not baited. Submissions are judged by a panel of experts in the fields of photography, science, and conservation. Photographers whose images move into the second round of judging are emailed and we request high-resolution images, RAW files, and detailed captions. All of the finalists are published in the Fall / Winter Special Collectors' Editions of Nature's Best Photography magazine. In addition, catgeory Winners and a selection of Highly Honored images are displayed as large fine art prints in the annual exhibition at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC.
