All Aboard for a Field Trip!
On Sunday, August 23, let's meet at the train station in New Freedom, PA and board a steam train for the End of Summer Special at 11 am. New Freedom is about an hour and twenty minutes from Frederick, no matter which route your GPS presents you with. It's north of Baltimore and south of York, PA. The club will reimburse the ticket price of each member who attends, and you are welcome to bring family members at your own expense. There are lots of things to do both before and after the train ride, so check out the details and get planning.
Information about how to participate is in this document which you can print out and save. There are still plenty of seats on the train, but don't wait too long, or it will fill up and you'll be left standing at the station!
