September 9 Meeting - 7 pm on Zoom - Night Journeys

"Night Journeys: Challenges and Rewards of Photography After Dark" with Rich Isaacman

The world is different after dark: different light, different skies and cityscapes, different people doing different activities. This is especially true for photographers, for whom the technical challenges of shooting at night are rewarded by the opportunity to explore a different world. Rich Isaacman will explore the technical and artistic challenges of night photography, illustrated by his own nighttime images from a dozen countries around the world.

Rich Isaacman is based in Annapolis and has been shooting semi-professionally for 15 years. He has visited nearly 60 countries and his work has appeared in the Washington Post, McMillan Publications textbooks, and on the Travel Channel. He has had a number of solo exhibitions of his work in DC-area galleries -- most recently at the Delaplaine Arts Center -- and is on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Federation of Art. You can see Rich's work at his website: https://rich-isaacman.pixels.com

This will be a Zoom only presentation. Camera Clique members will get the link in the first September email blast, but anyone who is not a member is welcome to request the link by emailing info@frederickcameraclique.org.
